Chanel or Chanei?

The boyfriend recently went to China for a business trip. He had so much fun and brought me home my very own Chanel… or Chanei. 😉 I’m sure to the actual Chanel owner- this bag looks completely fake and like a total knock off. But for a under educated Chanel handbag gal like myself, it looks pretty dang good! It’s even made out of real leather.

“Made in France”… more like China!

The best part was that it came with this card that ensures the buyer it’s authentic.

Anyways thought I would share my new favorite bag… although it will never replace my Louis!

Sunday Breakfast.

This week Tristan is off to the Intel campus in Arizona for a work training. I miss him so much already! This morning we made some breakfast and spent all day lazing around the house before I took him to the airport.

Bed head.

I am so excited to let you all know that I took the plunge and got my own domain! 🙂 Soon, very soon, I will be switching everything over from this site– of course I will have to wait until my super handsome and techy fiance returns to help me with the technical side of things! Hope you all had a great weekend!

Vacation: Day 1.

This morning I got up at 3:45.

Gross.

BUT- It was all worth it to head down to beautiful Carlsbad, CA!

We ended up getting to California around 11 and headed out lunch at TGI Friday’s (my grandpa’s favorite). Then we checked into our condo, and purchased some groceries for the week and took a night walk. We’re all super excited to go to the beach tomorrow! And I already have tons of photos to share with you. Bare with me.

The best frozen yogurt in town- Linda’s Yogurt.

The cutest baby in town- Kingsty Wayne.

The house sister, Trevor and I are all going to pitch in for. It’s on the beach. Isn’t she lovely? So beautiful.

One of my favorite things about Carlsbad is the painted fire hydrants. So cute!

So there you have it! Day one is over! Stay tuned- I’ll update you all tomorrow! (Tomorrow is BEACH day!)

Things I always like.

In light of my recent post “Things I always don’t like.”  I thought I’d be postive and do the other side of the spectrum- things I always like:

1. Stretching in bed after waking up.

(via)

You know the feeling. You wake up and lift your arms above your head, stretch your legs out really long, curl your toes, and make that morning sound. It always feels SO good, maybe even better than the actual sleeping itself…

2. Finding deals.

(via)

I’m a treasure hunter. When it comes to shopping, I love to dig. As a result- my favorite stores are always the Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, and the Goodwills of the world. And when I do find a deal- I always feel so satisfied- like all my hard work has not gone to waste. Sure it’s fun to look around at a regular Nordstrom from time to time, but to me- looking at clothing neatly organized in color coordinated piles just isn’t as thrilling.

3. Going to the airport.

(via)

I love airports. Not sure why- maybe it’s because I associate it with going on vacation. But there’s just something about an airports atmosphere that I love! People always seem so excited, and I love all the little shops.

4. Taking everything out of my purse and putting it all back in again.

(via)

I love to organize, more so than the average person. Thus, one of my favorite things to do is clean out my purse. I like to do so by taking everything out and cleaning each item one by one. For example, I’ll take my ipod out- I’ll clean the screen and wrap the headphones around it- put it back in, then I’ll move onto my wallet, I’ll take everything out of my wallet- and put each thing back into it one by one- getting rid of the junk. Then I move onto the cosmetic bag, take every item out one by one- get rid of what I don’t use anymore, then load it back in. I definitely do this almost too much. My purse is overly organized, that’s for sure.

5. Getting an A on a test after investing MANY hours into studying.

(via)

This is one of the most rewarding feelings I think I’ll ever know. Even if I end up having no social life for weeks, that A makes it worth every minute.

What are some things you always like?

Klamath Falls.

This weekend I headed down to Klamath Falls, Oregon to visit le BF.  We had so much fun just walking around, enjoying the sunshine and the few crazies we met on the streets.

In the car, the lighting was crazy! I had to tone the brightness down…

Kind of random… haha but more importantly- how was your weekend? What did you do?
