Can we talk about finger nail polish for a minute?

I love finger nail polish. I paint my nails one to two times a week… for fun! I think it’s so relaxing and I love having pretty fingers. 

Not too long ago I discovered the Sinful Colors Gel Tech line of finger nail polish (about $2.99 per bottle at my Walgreens) and it’s amazing! The colors are so beautiful, it lasts forever and is super shiny! It really does look like a gel manicure, yet you don’t even need the lamp! 

So far I have three colors and I love, love, love them…

Nail Combo.

The other day I bought two Milani nail polishes in tip toe pink and gold. Let me just say, I am loving them! This gold sparkle polish is unlike any other… it’s a little difficult to work with but comes out really neat. I definitely suggest giving it a try! 🙂

Cozy Home

For the month of January I have had no student teaching and only class on Tuesday/Thursdays! I can’t tell you how amazing it has been! I have been relaxing, playing with my cats, and generally feeling good! It’s really nice to just have a month to re-focus and get ready for the upcoming craziness!

Today was my nephew Kingston’s 3rd birthday! It is so hard to believe 3 years have gone by! Words cannot describe just how much I love this boy and I cannot wait to watch him grow up in the years to come! Fall Colors

Fall is my favorite time of year! I couldn’t be more happy that it’s actually starting to look a little like fall outside, and the 90 degree weather has finally subsided! It’s even raining today! I can’t wait to burn lots of candles and cuddle in blankets. What’s your favorite fall tradition?

Fondue Night!

One of our favorite restaurants ever is Gustav’s. We love, love, love German food! But even more, we love the Fondue they have there as well as their yummy drinks. So hubby and I decided we should have a fondue night with his sister and her boyfriend. To be festive, Tristan decided to make pretzel’s from scratch using this recipe. It was quite the ordeal! But trust me, they turned out amazing. Especially when paired with the cheese sauce we decided to make using this recipe. My sister in law and her boyfriend also made another yummy cheese sauce and sliced up some bread. We were set! Here are some photos from the night:
