4 weeks until summer break!

And boy am I excited… as I talk about quite often, school pretty much consumes my life.

I’ve decided to pump me up, I’m going to list four things I’m very excited about for summer, since there’s four weeks left!

1. Family time! Yay! I get to see my family every day! Including Sister and stinky-Kingsty of course!

Look how cute my big boy is while having naked baby time? I just want to kiss his Buddha belly all over! And, I think he takes after Auntie with the arm by his head while sleeping, that’s a total me move.

2. Seeing le BF nearly every weekend! Yay! Boyfriend will be working in Portland and we couldn’t be more excited!

Boyfriend and I.

3. So excited for warm weather! Lately it’s been snowing… in April. I don’t really approve of this. But I’m soooo excited to wear dresses again, it will be so refreshing!

Holga of me in a dress. 🙂

4. I can’t wait to go out doors and finally take photos again!

Polaroid I took last summer.

What are you excited for this summer?

Did you all hear?

“We are pleased to herewith announce a history making cooperation between Polaroid and The Impossible Project:

As we have created quite some buzz about Analog Instant Photography over the past 12 months, the Polaroid licensee – The Summit Global Group – now can’t resist any longer and announced at a press conference on October 13th in Hongkong that they will re-launch some of the most famous Polaroid Instant Cameras.

Therefore they are commissioning The Impossible Project to develop and produce a limited edition of Polaroid branded Instant Films in the middle of 2010.

The Impossible Project is proud and excited that its ambitions and all the relentless work that has already been invested are now becoming the foundation for Polaroid’s comeback as a producer of Instant Cameras.

Large-scale production and worldwide sale of The Impossible Project’s new integral film materials under its own brand will already start in the beginning of 2010 – with a brand new and astonishing black and white Instant Film and the first colour films to follow in the course of the year.”

Yay! I couldn’t be happier 🙂

Now I can take more shots like this:

The final countdown!

[I hope you all heard this in your head when you read the title]

There are 5 days until Boyfriend comes to visit!

To celebrate this, I thought I’d post some photos of my Mr. Handsome.

(I’m sorry I’m a dork Boyfriend)

I love those cheeks, especially when he smiles and shows off his dimples. 🙂

Ok enough of me being mushy…

I bought the following book:

And… it’s awesome.

Apparently this guy already wrote a book called:

I think I need this one too.

(And yes… I used the poladroid for the above photos. Don’t judge.)

Remember when I told you all about the holganizer?

Well I recently found the Poladroid! For all of you who love the look of polaroids but don’t have the money for the film, or just plain don’t have a polaroid camera.

It’s funny you drag a photo onto the camera and it makes a noise like a real polaroid would… then takes a couple minutes to develop.

It’s really fun to play with as seen below:

It’s so cool! You should really try it out. You have to download a program, but it’s safe, free and takes like two seconds.

However, you can always make a donation to the polaroid fund 🙂

Of course one of Boyfriend and I.

Try it out!

New to the family.

Yesterday was a camera filled day for Boyfriend and I.

I got this pretty Meikai for 9 bones from the local thrift shop Treasures:

It’s so cool! And takes 35. How fantastic. 🙂

And Boyfriend got this pretty for .50 cents yesterday as well!

Yay! 🙂

The Impossible Project.

I can’t recall if I’ve mentioned this or not… but there is this really great group of people who are trying to revive/revamp polaroid technology for all! And I couldn’t be more excited! They have a great website that you can check out here, where they talk all about the difficulties they’re having and how the project is going. Definitely stop by if you’re interested, I’m definitely thinking about buying a shirt.

I added them to my blogroll as well, so everyone should pop in once in a blue moon to see what’s developed in instant developing (haha get it?)
