Happy birthday to one special boy!

Today was my nephew Kingston’s 3rd birthday! It is so hard to believe 3 years have gone by! Words cannot describe just how much I love this boy and I cannot wait to watch him grow up in the years to come! Here is a collection of Β some of my favorite pictures (not in any particular order) of the Kingst man… birthday party post to come! πŸ™‚

Happy birthday big boy! Auntie loves you so much!

a touch of fall

I love everything fall lately! Fall is my absolute favorite season ever! I love the candles, I love the holidays, I love the weather, I love the clothing that we are finally able to wear! Everything about fall is amazing! So of course I love taking advantage of decorating for fall any time I can, and when I saw these string lights at Target on clearance, I knew I had to have them!

For now, I put them in front of our TV in our bedroom… until I can get a short extension cord and find them a more permanent placement! πŸ™‚

Fall Colors

Fall is my favorite time of year! I couldn’t be more happy that it’s actually starting to look a little like fall outside, and the 90 degree weather has finally subsided! It’s even raining today! I can’t wait to burn lots of candles and cuddle in blankets. What’s your favorite fall tradition?

Happy Birthday McKenna!

Today is Tristan’s little cousin McKenna’s 7th birthday! Yesterday I went to her party and had so much fun with the little girls. We made crafts and talked a lot about McKenna’s first love… Justin Bieber.

What’s this?

OMG! It’s a Justin Bieber concert ticket!

Happy birthday to of the most sassy, sweet, unique 7 year old girls I know! I know she’ll have a blast at her Justin Bieber concert tonight!

Fondue Night!

One of our favorite restaurants ever is Gustav’s. We love, love, love German food! But even more, we love the Fondue they have there as well as their yummy drinks. So hubby and I decided we should have a fondue night with his sister and her boyfriend. To be festive, Tristan decided to make pretzel’s from scratch using this recipe. It was quite the ordeal! But trust me, they turned out amazing. Especially when paired with the cheese sauce we decided to make using this recipe. My sister in law and her boyfriend also made another yummy cheese sauce and sliced up some bread. We were set! Here are some photos from the night:

The beginning.

Perfect!

So begins the boil…

After the bake!

Time for fondue at Angie and Cal’s! πŸ™‚

Our fondue pot courtesy of my grandpa’s house! Still works like a charm!

He likes it!

And last but not least! My new favorite drink, pear vodka with champagne!

What did you do this weekend?
