I can’t believe how soon until this semester is DONE with! This year has just flown by.

I finally am feeling OK about school, but just ok. Not great… Here are my options for final grades:

1) All B’s. (LAME. I don’t want this one, I feel so average).

2) Four B’s, One A. (The A being in Phonetics, love that class! However, I would like more A’s please…)

3) Three B’s, Two A’s. (The two A’s being Phonetics and Human Development. This is the choice I’m hoping for! So wish me luck! It’s seriously time to BUCKLE down.)

Unfortunately, it looks as though I’ll have quite a hefty load of homework to do over Thanksgiving, but hey, it’ll be good, I’ll be at home, I can cuddle my kitties and enjoy life.

As for the whole language sample dilemma I told you all about, I have come up with a solution! I’m going to video tape my lovely best friend’s niece over Thanksgiving. This makes me feel SO much better.  I actually have a plan! Plus, this makes me really excited that I get to spend some time with Jess!

I’m kind of nervous about the whole driving-home-alone-6-hours thing for Thanksgiving. However, I’m going to put on The Grapes and just try to enjoy my time alone.

AND, since the Boy’s birthday is the day after Thanksgiving, I do believe I will be able to see this handsome face as well:

In other news, did you all see this crazyness on Sister’s blog! She might be having a little girl after all instead of the boy we had thought!

Well, that’s all I have, I hope you all are having a good beginning of the week! Time for me to watch some Gossip Girl.

Well, I don’t know if it’s to the max. But I’m just not having a good past week/weekend.

Lets see… where to start?

Hmm… On the way home to the west side I realized I had accidentally thrown away my Jeff Dunham tickets for Dad’s Weekend here at WSU. And obviously since I was already two hours away I couldn’t check, so I begged my very nice neighbor to look in the dumpster and pull out our garbage bags and set them on our porch, so I could go through them later.

Fear not, I found them when I got back in the garbage can in the kitchen. This pleases me.

Then, the purpose of going home this weekend was to get a language sample, so I spent an hour with some kids playing, which was really fun. And I tested out the equipment to make sure it was working.

Then I get back today and I’m trying to type up the language sample and there’s NOTHING on the tape. I seriously want to cry.

I guess I’ll just have to get it over Thanksgiving break instead.

So frustrating.

Then I’m having some awkward tension between a friend and I. I don’t ever like that. I always like things to be peaceful.

SO, now that I’ve spoke about the negatives, lets talk about the positives shall we! Bring this up to a happy place!

Positive #1: No exams this week!

Positive #2: Courtney (future roomy/one of the best friends) got in to WSU! So that means she really will be a future roomy!

Positive #3: I got to spend lots of time with momma and sister this weekend. Which was fun. I even took some of sister’s preggo pics with her fancy new camera! Here they are:

I was looking through old photos of Roomy and I and decided to make an ode to our friendship throughout the years… warning: this is super dorky.

On our way to a Kelly Clarkson concert… haha yes, Kelly Clarkson. Sister even got a scar on her hand from that show.

We used to dress up and go out into the woods on her property and have her mother take photos of us. So vain.

We’ve actually been friends since she was in 1st grade and I in 2nd… and I had some really funny old photos… but my scanner was being lame and wouldn’t work for me. Bummer!

I need your opinion… or gents, I suppose you could have opinions on this as well.

Basically I’m wondering what kind of lotion you all use. You see, it’s quite cold and dry over here in Pullman and due to this fact, my legs are starting to resemble a cracked desert.

Currently I’m using Johnson’s Body Care in Forever Fresh, and I like it… I just think it’s more of a summer lotion because it’s light and airy. I need the good stuff now.

What’s your opinion? Let me know.

ALSO, I am getting my hair done next weekend and I’m at a loss, I’m not sure what to do. My “grow out” isn’t bad… because last time I went pretty natural, so I’m thinking about not getting it colored at all and just letting it be. But as for the cut… should I just get a trim?

Update: ALSO tell me about your favorite sunless tanners… or what you do for a nice fake glow haha. I’m wondering about this because it’s time for me to start figuring out what I want to use so I don’t look like a ghost on my upcoming trip with boyfriend.

On a different note, my Halloween was fun. Courtney came to visit and we made lots of crafts and just took it easy watching far too many scary movies.

Now I need to study A LOT today for an exam I have tomorrow that I put off for some fun this weekend. Boo.

Lately I’ve had the urge to go rollerskating. I think it all started one night when I was watching “Girls Next Door” and they had a roller disco party. It just looked SO fun!

Anyway,

As for the whole Dr. Drew biz-nas. It was SO good! In fact, I wish he would’ve spoke longer… I think it was about an hour and thirty minutes. But he’s so brilliant, and he was no-nonsense. People would ask silly questions and he’d be really blunt and move on. Loved it.

But that night was a really silly night for me in general, and it all started when we were at Dr. Drew.

Roomy estimated that there were over 1000 students in the CUB ballroom. And yes, there were a lot. But basically at this point mostly everyone was sitting down and this guy was walking down the main aisle down the middle of the seats and just straight up slipped and fell… on flat land. EVERYONE simultaneously said “oooooooooooh!” while we all watched him fall. Luckily, Roomy and I had front row seats to this action, he fell right in front of us. We could NOT stop laughing. And it was mostly the way he got up. Of course it’s always funny to see someone fall. But this basically set off our goofy mood for the rest of the night.

When we got home we decided to carve our pumpkin. Then we decided to go to Walmart so we could get some candles to stick in the pumpkin. While there roomy said, “I feel like I have pumpkin all over me.” I just agreed and then we continued on. Then we decided to go to Hastings because I wanted to get a movie.

While there I bent down and saw I had pumpkin seeds all over my Uggs. We both saw them at the same time and laughed so hard. Looking back on it, it’s not that funny, but at the time, I was dying.

Well that’s all I have for now, and I should probably force myself to do some work.

Hope you all had a good holiday weekend! Now can we start anticipating Christmas already?!

Tonight I’ll be seeing Mr. Dr. Drew of Love Line himself for FREE! At the CUB on campus. Hurray!
